Meet the Teachers

Jill Beverly

Ms. Beverly has been teaching at Osborne for over ten years now. She teaches ESOL English, usually to sophomores and juniors. Her classes are fun and funny! Ms. Beverly likes movies, tv, good music, and reading. She has an adorable dog named Dee.

Jill Bristow

Mrs. Bristow has been teaching at Osborne for 8 years now. She mostly teaches Honors World Literature, but also does a little bit of American Lit or AP Language. Mrs. Bristow has two kids, three cats, and a dog, and loves to play Dungeons and Dragons on the weekends.

Randy Brooks

Mr. Brooks is our fearless English department chair! He teaches American Literature and Advanced Composition. Mr. Brooks runs the Voices of OHS show every year and is always willing to take on new projects and collaborative learning days. Mr. Brooks is a performance poet and is originally from Baltimore and has been teaching here for 8 years.

Ms. Clark teaches AP Language, AP Literature and American Literature at Osborne High School. She is a Georgia High School graduate and alumna of  the University of West Georgia and Central Michigan University. Ms. Clark’s goal is to empower her students to achieve their goals and dreams. One of her favorite quotes is, “Education is the key to unlock the golden door of freedom” -George Washington Carver.

Ms. Heard has been teaching at University of Osborne High School for 10 years.  She teaches Multicultural Literature and AP Literature.  Her  belief is that all students can learn; however, each student learns through multiple intelligences!

Mrs. Milton teaches World Literature and Multicultural Literature at Osborne High School. She loves reading, baking, movies, and hiking with her dog. She is a teacher in the JA/3DE academy.

Jo Richard

Mrs. Richard has been teaching at OHS for 6 years and has been the yearbook facilitator for 3 years. She loves working on a great 9th Lit team and looks forward to inspiring students everyday! Mrs. Richard also works closely with the Osborne Cardinals football team, so much as, you can usually find her at every game.

Sherrye Tillman

Sherrye Tillman has been at Osborne for 10 years and excited about the 11th.  She is currently the instructional coach working with the English Department.  She loves working with teachers and students.  When we expect only the best; there is no room anything less.  She has taught 9th, World, American, Multicultural, AP Language, AP Literature.  She has previously served Osborne as ELA Dept. Chair,  Teacher of the Year 15-16, and coordinator of the Literacy Conference.

Corrie Tuttle

Dr. Tuttle has been teaching for 5 years at OHS, and 14 years overall. She loves reading, her two dogs, hiking, camping, and most of all teaching! She is a teacher in the JA/3DE academy.
